All of us in Home Business Marketing have landing Pages. This allows us to capture Names and Emails for follow up Marketing. If our site is just a landing page does SEO help? Absolutely if you can achieve a high page rank with the search engines then you can have targeted visitors for free. Typically good traffic is only achieved by PPC “pay per click”.

I am working on the SEO on my sites www.myinternetbusinessfacts.com  and www.myinternetbusinessleader.com  doing a little different approach on each. Now both sites are for the same Business My Internet Business. The learning curve on SEO is huge. Even the best companies that offer SEO have different approaches. After reviewing the prices I decided to do it myself.

These are the key points I plan on working on.

Google and other of the large search engines don’t publish books on how to achieve better rankings. In the web tools they do help with Sitemaps suggestion and indexing to get page crawl settings. Look into robots.txt files they help tell Google crawlers no where to look and not look.

Some say that sites from flash give Google a hard time reading content. This results in them having a hard time to index the site. This was the information that made me choose to use a traditional web builder from XSITE to make one of my sites.

In the home businesses industry the competition is large. For some keywords you have millions of possible site found. How do you get your home based business to rank in the top twenty or so?   The Keywords you choose must match your content. Also if other sites with high page rank within the same business structure link to your site it helps a lot.

I started in Passport to Wealth paying for every lead I receive. The results were good. The cost was at a high percentage of the sale. With this new Business opportunity I will try new ways that make me stand out from the competition. Branding yourself is the key to being different. A replicated site will get you replicated results.

The main importance of SEO in a Work from Home business is crucial. Our main goal is to keep the profit margin up. You need to reduce your cost of sale. With great SEO you can lower you budget for PPC were most of your cost in any business. Netting you the results you are looking for.

The best approach is to find articles on SEO and spend some time reading. Some may have useless information and one piece of knowledge that’s helps you greatly.
